Totally true, I bought new wool carpets and although they look lovely, they shed like there’s no tomorrow! I tried vacuuming and it works and I’m also planning to buy the robot vacuum to clean it automatically while I’m at work. Out of curiosity, will it damage the carpet if I vacuum every day?

If you clean your rug using the upright vacuum instead of the hand attachment, you are running the risk of ruining the pile. So we recommend using the hand attachment if you want to vacuum everyday. Thank you for your comment and glad we can help.

Wow this is really helpful information for those with wool carpets! Great advice, installing it in a low-traffic area, that makes total sense. I imagine most people would not even think to do this. Robot vacuums are really fantastic and I’m about ready to get a new one, so I’ll be saving your link for when the time soon comes. Great post and I’m looking forward to reading more of them.

It is a daily battle to keep my wool carpet clean. And like you said who has the time to do it regularly with a 9 to 5 job and kids to take care of.

I like the idea of a robot vacuum if it can be done regularly and well, That is great! How does the robot work? will it increase my power bill? Because when you say robot, I see power usage. And one other reason why I only vacuum once per week is the bill.

    Thanks for sharing.

Robot Vacuums are more convenient and useful because of the time and energy you save, they don’t take up a lot of space due to their compact size and equipped with WiFi and Amazon Alexa for hands-free commands. The only power usage it uses is when its charging and that is only an hour or so.
