These days more and more people are deciding to down-size in many areas of their lives, and that includes how they live. Small kitchens are more prevalent as people move to smaller homes, so having these 19 genius kitchen hacks to work with is going to be very helpful for a lot of people.

How to organize small kitchens is an activity that requires some planning and evaluation of what you will be doing – i.e. if you are like me, you will want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and have easy access to the tools you need and yet keep them neat and tidy when not used.

I have bookmarked this article because the hacks are ones that many of my friends can use. I particularly liked the communications center idea, the mounting and hanging ideas, and the labels you recommend using. These are al hacks that I will use myself. Thanks for a very useful article!

I totally agree that not having enough counter space is a huge factor in not wanting to cook! I like your idea of the magnetic knife rack. It would eliminate the need for a knife block. I’m definitely guilty of keeping a bunch of un-necessary bulky items on my counters too. I used to always have my blender on the counter even though I rarely used it. It’s amazing the difference you can see by removing a few unnecessary things. Thanks for sharing 🙂

This was a wonderful article with some great tips.  As you said in the article, even if your kitchen looks perfect, it won’t stay that way without daily maintenance.  I completely agree with that.  I’m the only one in my home who uses my kitchen and I like it that way.  As soon as I’m done in there, everything is cleaned to within an inch of it’s life.

Thanks for the tips, keep up the good work.

    Justin.
